Toby Norman Designer

I have over 25 years experience in the design and creative industry working various roles in many different environments in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. I have been a thinker, a doer, a manager and a mentor. I have come up with big concepts and design solutions, I’ve written copy and I’ve built artwork. I’ve worked alone, in teams and with partners. I’ve lead projects and played my part. I have presented my ideas to leaders and teams, I have learned how to talk and how to listen and more importantly, when to do both. I love clever thinking and creative solutions, great ideas and beautiful design, as long as it is effective and not just for effect.

From my education right through my career I’ve learned many things and gained many skills which I believe makes me who I am today, a creative big picture thinker who can focus on the details and push the boundaries while maintaining a pragmatic view of the objectives. For me it’s not about praise or accolades, nice as those may be, I love to do my job. I enjoy working hard to come up with the best solutions, plain and simple.

T73Design is a project name that I’ve used now for over 10 years for side projects and personal design ideas independent of whatever day job I held at the time.
