It’s Nothing Personal
John Stoddart has been a sought-out photographer for more than twenty-five years. He exhibited at Open Eye in the early 80s before abandoning social documentary photography to set up a studio in London. Since then he’s photographed the likes of Iggy Pop, Martin Scorcese, Prince Charles Liz Hurley and hundreds more, as well as creating risqué portraits that fuse fantasy and fame. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him to produce his first book of photographs and to bring to life his vision of the other side of fame, as he saw it, from the images that his magazine photos depicted.
